Andrew Losowsky, The Doorbells of Florence

I found this wonderful book filled with photographs of Florentine doorbells accompanied with short stories. The author was inspired to imagine who might live behind each of the doorbells and wrote a story to accompany each photograph. It is a beautiful book and inspiration for my own projects that include photographs and video clips
.

Some random sentences:
"He will always reply with the same silent stare."

"Instead of greeting cards, everyone would give out business cards--but not their own."

"He had spent months looking for a building where the occupants, like his record collection, his books, his wall posters, his wardrobe, and his refrigerator, were arranged in alphabetical order."
